Lucien Dubuis Trio developped his own style, the future rock. A mix between every kind of influences, on the service of energy. Humour, freedom and game are part of the means. Occasionally, Marc Ribot (guit, NYC) joins the trio. They recorded together the “Ultime Cosmos” album in New York, which was released in 2009 by the label ENJA Records.

Born in Porrentruy, Switzerland, in 1974, non-conformistic multi-reedist Lucien Dubuis has been an active musician in the jazz and improvised music scene for several years — with more than a dozen albums to his credit. He has worked with such as Marc Ribot, Hans Koch, Kalle Kalima, Linda Sharrock, and Daniel Erdmann and played big festivals in New York, Montreux, Rome, Shanghai, Geneva, Bogotá and other places.
